The National Chairman of the National Democratic Congress (NDC), Johnson Asiedu Nketiah popularly known ‘General Mosquitoe’ is severely against the success of the main opposition party, Koku Anyidoho has insinuated.

According to Koku Anyidoho, the continuous actions and inactions of the newly elected chairman of the NDC is more of undermining the downfall of the party than the progress it seeks to achieved.

He alleged that Asiedu Nketiah’s long-lasting negative attitude towards the NDC dated back since 2016 December when he was overheard in a phone conversation boosting of how he claimed to have destroyed the party’s rank in Brong Ahafo region likewise a “fallen-ripped pawpaw.”

Koku Anyidoho said further that the accused chairman was heard making such damning comments whiles indirectly lambasting Lordina Mahama, the wife of former president John Dramani Mahama, for her quest to become the First Lady once again.

In the same phone conversation, he added that the incumbent National Chairman who was then the General Secretary boldly told the unknown person that he [Asiedu Nketiah] was waiting patiently to see how John Mahama becomes president.

Owing to this behavioral scenarios of Mr. Asiedu Nketiah over the years, the ex-director of communications at the presidency under late John Evans Atta Mills, hinted the accused is just adding up to what he is capable of doing.

Asiedu Nketiah is the incumbent Chairman of the NDC

“Now, I have been vindicated, Asiedu Nketiah is a dictator, he is not interested in any democracy,” the Atta Mills Institute Chief Executive Officer said on Anopa Bofo morning show whiles commenting on the reshuffling development of the Minority leadership in parliament.

Mr. Anyidoho was convinced the decision was solely taken by Asiedu Nketiah and does not involve the National Elections Committee (NEC) under the guidance of Functional Executive Committee (FEC).

He called it a bad precedent, something he labeled it as “Dictator” Asiedu Nketiah’s part instead of acting in a “Democratic” manner.

He pointed out that, the unrest expected to be ensued in the aftermath of the reshuffle in the minority ranks is an example of what has started in the Northen Region, specifically, Tamale South Constituency, the electoral area of Haruna Iddrisu.

He thus subscribed to the banner headline by the ‘Daily Dispatch’ that the ‘NDC presses 2024 self-destruction battom’, and opined it is the doing of Johnson Asiedu Nketiah’s selfishness.

Koku Anyidoho pledged that as far as he lives, he will not oversee nor tolerate the attitude of the former General Secretary amidst putting the NDC’s image into disrepute.
