Woman, 48, stabbed to death at Sepe Buokrom

A 48-year-old woman, Akosua Agyaa has died after she was allegedly stabbed at Sepe Buokrom in the Ashanti Region on Monday between the hours of 5:00 and 6:00 am.

Reports suggest that the suspect, a 21-year-old boy, whose name was only given as Baafi and lives opposite the deceased committed the crime.

According to multiple reports, the suspect entered the deceased room amidst robbing her but in the process of struggling he overpowered the victim and allegedly stabbed her multiple times in the neck, rib and chest until she passed out.

A co-tenant of the deceased disclosed that they heard a loud cry from her room and later found her lifeless body in a pool of blood after they broke into the apartment.

The suspect was later seen holding a handgun and reportedly threatened anyone that came his way after the incident whiles he flees the scene.

However, some youth in the area arrested the suspect and handed him over to the police.

The deceased, Akosua who is believed to have recently returned from abroad was said to have had a misunderstanding with the suspect few weeks ago.

Meanwhile, the police have conveyed the body of the deceased and deposited it at the morgue.
