A young man believed to be in his mid-30s is currently battling for his life at the St Gregory Hospital, Awutu Bereku in the Central Region, after thugs attacked and beat him to pulp.
The victim, a resident of Roman junction, a suburb of Awutu Bereku in the Awutu Senya West District, was dumped in a nearby bush after he was assaulted by the unknown thugs.
The incident, according to residents of the community, happened on Wednesday dawn.
Opanin Darko of Angel News reported that some residents of the area believed the suspects were armed robbers.
He is currently receiving medical attention at the St Gregory hospital whiles the Awutu Bereku police command has begun investigations into the matter.
