Gospel Musician, Diana Asamoah, has said the Founder and General Overseer of Life Assembly Church, Rev Christian Kwabena Andrew, popularly known as Osofo Kyiri Abosom only qualifies as a ‘herbalist’ and not a Pastor.
The controversial man of God in an interview on the Delay Show said he does not believe in some of the teachings of the Bible as some of them are ‘fake’. He further described the Bible as an ordinary book.
“Even though I subscribe to some of the teachings of the Bible, to me some of the teachings in the Bible are fake. This means the Book is not authentic. There is no spirit in it, somebody wrote it and when the person was writing it I wasn’t there,” he said.
This comment of the man of God who recently announced to his congregation that he has divorced his wife and doesn’t regret the decision did not sit well with the musician turned radio/television evangelist.
Speaking on UTV’s Entertainment show, United Showbiz, Evangelist Diana Asamoah called on Ghanaians to cease referring to Kyiri Abosom as a ‘man of God’.
“…I see that man [Kyiri Abosom] as a Herbalist not a man of God…,” she opined in the interview monitored by Angelonline.com.gh.
She further said the comments by Osofo Kyiri Abosom shows that ‘he has not just rejected the word of God but God as well and hence the Supreme Being is not the foundation of his church’.
“It is only Pastors who canot go according to the dictates of the Bible that gradually decieve their followers that the word of God is fake,” she said.
Evangelist Diana Asamoah further charged the followers of the popular man of God to stop going to his church as he is leading them astray.
