The Majority Chief Whip, Frank Annor-Dompreh, has humbly appealed to the flagbearer hopeful of the New Patriotic Party (NPP), Alan Kyeremanten, to show Yaw Buaben Asamoa the exit door from his camp.

He pointed out that, Mr Buaben Asamoa who currently serves as the spokesperson for the presidential hopeful has become “clueless” in the way he carries himself.

The Majority Chief Whip who doubles as Member of Parliament (MP) for Nsawam Adoagyiri in the Eastern Region offered the advice after he claimed that the former Adenta MP has persistently attacked lawmakers who are associated with Vice President Dr Mahamadu Bawumia.

Alan Kyeremanten recently resigned as Minister for Trade and Industry to lead the NPP as he seeks to pursue his presidential ambition, and he is expected to face a keen contest from Dr Afriyie Akoto the immediate past Agric Minister and Assin Central MP, Kennedy Agyapong.

Dr Bawumia who is yet to officially declare his bid to join the race has been tipped by many as the likelihood sole candidate to give Mr Kyeremanten a good run for his money.

But to Mr Dompreh, despite the Vice President’s silence on his interests regarding the flagbearship race, persons close to him have become victims of verbal attacks from Buaben Asamoa.

He, therefore, condemned the behaviour and called on Alan Kyeremanten to consider casting out the accused from his camp before allowing his utterances to cost him at the party’s presidential primaries.

“Mr Alan Kyeremanten should jettison YB off his campaign team. He simply cannot connect & has become clueless… I pity your campaign strategies…pathetic.

“YB may keep insulting the sense of judgement of the many MPs who are with the Veep. I can assure you that your candidate will pay for it dearly sooner… Revise your crude strategies & and antics!.. You are dead on arrival …,” Frank Annoh Dompreh said in a tweet.

According to him, the affected lawmakers will definitely “show the way” and he has therefore asked Mr Kyeremanten to “take it” or “leave it.”
