Parliamentarian hopeful for Ayawaso West Wuogon Constituency in Accra, John Dumelo, has been supported financially ahead of his campaign for the 2024 general elections.
Mr. Dumelo, an actor cum farmer who lost the contest at the constituency as a first timer in the 2020 polls, has declared his bid to contest once again.
While lacing his boot for 2024, a group of 23 female students from three different tertiary institutions in the Ayawaso West Wuogon Constituency made a donation of GHC1,850 to support the politician’s campaign.
The donor students from the University of Ghana, Legon, University of Professional Studies, Accra, and Knustford University, according to the beneficiary, are his friends.
They made the cash presentation to the entrepreneur at a short ceremony on Wednesday, March 14.
John Dumelo receiving the cash was thankful and grateful to the donors for their kindhearted gesture and admonished electorates of Ayawaso West Wuogon to help make the constituency great again.
