Acting CEO of Angel Broadcasting Network (ABN), Vincent Opare has said, God has blessed him with the skills he requires to lead the media unit of the Angel Group of Companies.
According to him, his leadership qualities are not magic and that he is going to apply them to work for the company.
Speaking in an interview on Anopa Bofo morning show on ANgel 102.9 FM and Angel TV on Monday, March 20, 2023, Mr. Opare said, he started his professional career as a Banker and had worked for 15 years.
Emphasising on experience then, the new CEO disclosed that he had been managing the bank account of the founder and bankroller of ABN, Dr. Kwaku Oteng, and added that he delivered most assignments given him by the founder within the period.
Having mentioned this, Vicent Opare believes he has gathered enough experience with the maximum leadership qualities, to lead the charge of the Chief Executive Officer position.
Vincent Opare was appointed as the company’s acting Chief Executive Officer (CEO) on Friday, March 17, 2023, following a meeting at the company’s corporate office within the Airport enclave in Accra.
The meeting was graced by senior staff, heads of departments and management of various stations under the brand as well as Mr. Philip Ofori Asante, Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Angel Group of Company.
