The Ashaiman District Police Command have intensified their investigation to arrest some men who assaulted a journalist with the Angel Broadcasting Network (ABN) in line of duty.
The suspects on Thursday, May 25, 2023, apart from the attack on the journalist – Augustine Ahiabor, a reporter of the media firm also got his belongings including his mobile phone and other gadgets destroyed.
The incident happened after the reporter had gone to cover the collapse of a private toilet facility at Ashaiman Lebanon Zone Two where his presence incurred the wrath of the suspects – members of the community who attacked him.
Mr. Ahiabor subsequently reported the attack incident at the Ashaiman District Police Command, and currently responding to treatment on receiving medical attention.
