Bibiani Gold Stars forward Abednego Tetteh has opened up on his readiness to feature in the senior national team, the Black Stars.

The 32-year-old striker said he is ever ready on any given opportunity for a challenge in the team, once he is offered invitation.

In an interview with Kofi Jerry on Angel FM/TV’s Floodlights Sports, the inform goal poacher said, “Yes, I’m expecting a call up into the Black Stars,” and added that “I’m ready, anytime any day.”

He noted that although he did not enjoy much playing time at Kumasi-based King Faisal in the 2021/22 Ghana’s topflight season coupled with injuries, he adamant rediscovered his goal scoring feat and revived his career.

Abednego, who struggled at Accra Hearts of Oak joined King Faisal in last season’s league before a move to his current club Bibiani Gold Stars.

Having rediscovered his form, the former Bechem United attacker currently leads the top scorers chat of the ongoing 2022/2023 season with 16 goals.
