A former acting General Manager of Accra Hearts of Oak Soccer Club, Bernard Nana Gyebi, has stated that getting rid of Board Members of the club is not an alternative to the problems facing the club.

He indicated that sacking Alhaji Akambi and Vincent Sowah Odotei should never be the consideration because, the club may rely on their vast experiences going forward.

Speaking on the ‘Floodlights Sports’ on Angel 102.9FM, Monday, June 5, 2023, Nana Gyebi said finding lasting measures to the growing issues at the Accra-based premier league side, is the most important thing to do now.

“You can’t just get rid of people like Akambi and Hon. Odotei from the club entirely…. you may need their experiences in certain areas,” he told the host, Kofi Owusu Jerry.

The former Business Development Manager of Medeama SC is certain that there will soon be a turnaround at the club for it to restore its glory days both home and on the continent.

In spite of the recently poor performance of the team, Benard Nana Gyebi added that he remains a staunch supporter, adding, he still has passion and love for the rainbow club.

Until his acting General Manager role at Accra Hearst of Oak, he worked for Medeama SC as the Business Development Manager of the Tarkwa-based club and Special Assistant to its club owner, Moses Armah Parker.
