‘Alan Kyerematen is the unifier and competent flagbearer NPP needs’ – Lambussie MP

Hon Bright Bakye Yelviel Baligi, NPP Member of Parliament for Lambussie Constituency in the Upper West Region, has expressed his admiration for flagbearer hopeful Alan Kyerematen, praising his unwavering commitment to unity and progress within the party.

Present to support the former Trade and Industry Minister were some Members of Parliament led Hon Bright Baligi, MP for Lambusie, and a group of young people led by Mr Martin Boakye Gyasi, current President of the University of Ghana Students Representative Council. The other Members of Parliament are Hon Patricia Appeagyei, MP for Asokwa, Hon Abena Osei Asare (Mrs), MP for Atiwa, and Deputy Minister for Finance, Hon Peter Amewu, MP for Hohoe and Minister for Railway Development, Hon Sylvester Tetteh, MP for Botiano-Ngleshie-Amanfrom, and Hon Davis Ansah-Opoku, MP for Moraeso.

Speaking at the function, Hon Baligi expressed firm belief that Mr Kyerematen is the ideal candidate to lead the NPP.

“My colleague MPS and l, are privileged to be part of this historic occasion. On behalf of my colleagues and on my own behalf, I present to you the incoming president of Ghana, the man of action and integrity, the unifier, the man to rescue, rebuild, restore and reward the Party, the man of vision, Mr. Industry, Hon Alan John Kwadwo Kyerematen.”

For his part, Legon SRC President Mr. Boakye Gyasi hailed Hon Alan Kyerematen as the future of the youth and the country.

Mr. Kyerematen submitted his nomination forms at the party headquarters in Accra on Monday, June 12.

Also in the company of Mr. Kyeremanten were the former General Secretary Nana Ohene Ntow, Hon Yaw Buaben Asamoa, former MP for Adenta, and a host of party faithful.

Addressing the media after filing his nomination forms, Mr. Kyerematen expressed his privilege at the prospect of leading the NPP to victory in the upcoming primaries and breaking the eight-year cycle for the party.

“It’s with the greatest pleasure that I submit to you my nomination forms duly completed to contest for the flagbearership of our great party. It will be an honor and privilege for me to lead this great party to a historic victory in December 2024, and usher Ghana into a new era of stability, growth, and prosperity,” he stated

The Lambussie MP’s endorsement of Alan Kyerematen underscores the faith many party members have in his ability to unite the NPP and propel it towards a successful future.
With his track record and commitment to progress, Mr Kyerematen aims to guide the party to victory in 2024 and bring about positive change for the nation.
