Galamsey kingpin, Aisha Huang, has denied ever engaging in mining related activities in Ghana.

Aisha Huang who has been described variously as one of the persons who facilitated the influx of Chinese immigrants into Ghana to engage in illegal mining activities told the court while opening her defence that the charges against her were after thoughts and are mean to just tarnish her image and name.

The Chinese National who was mysteriously found in Ghana despite being deported to her native China said neither she nor her company, Golden Aisha was engaged in mining related activities since she did not have the capital, lincence and permit to engage for such business.

Aisha who claimed to have been in Ghana since 2016 accused the police investigators of manufacturing evidence against her in her statement sent to court.

She added that all her statements against her were written by the police investigators who asked her to sign without explaining to her.

Aisha Huang is standing trial for charges of mining without lincense, sale of minerals, and immigration offences in which she has pleaded not guilty to all charges.
