Ghana legend, Asamoah Gyan, says the Black Stars will do everything possible to qualify for the 2026 world cup

Gyan, who retired a few months ago, was part of the ex-footballers who participated in the draw in ivory coast on Thursday afternoon, suggested Ghana’s group won’t be easy but tipped his country to qualify for the Mundial.

“It looks like  we’re[Ghana] getting used to the World Cup. 2026 is not gonna be easy, expectation is high back home but we will try our best to qualify.”;-Asamoah Gyan after the draw.

Gyan, featured in three world cups and scored 6 goals which makes him the highest top scorer of any African in the history of the tournament

Ghana has been drawn in group I including Mali, the Central Africa republic, Madagascar, Comoros, and Chad

The qualifiers will start in November, 2023.
