I’ll give free fuel to taxi drivers’ – Okatakyie

Host of Angel Morning Show, Okatakyie Afrifa-Mensah has pledged to give free fuel to Taxi Drivers who will remain glued to the show for at least six months.

He took over as host of the Angel Morning Show on Monday, July 17, 2023 after he was unveiled at a colourful ceremony at the forecourt of Angel 102.9FM in Lapaz, Accra.

During his maiden show aired on Tuesday, 18th July, 2023, Okatakyie who impressed many listeners/viewers pledged to reward loyal listeners within the first six months of hosting the show.

“For the next six months of my stay at Angel, I will devote a quarter of my salary to buying fuel for taxi and trotro drivers who listen to Angel Morning show…,” he pledged.

Okatakyie further spelt out how he would reward these loyal listeners.

“The first 20 Taxi or Trotro drivers who will arrive at the premises of Angel FM in Accra will be given coupons to go get free fuel…this will happen within the first six months…,” he pledged on the show.

The free fuel, he added, will be his means of thanking the commercial drivers for backing him during his stay at Angel FM/TV which promises to be a successful one.
