New Patriotic Party (NPP) Member of Parliament (MP) for Akim Oda in the Eastern Region, Alexander Akwasi Acquah is confident his party will break the eight in 2024.

According to him, the good policies of the Akufo-Addo government will be the main catalyst for their unprecedented victory in the elections which promises to be keenly contested.

One of these policies, the Akim Oda Law maker, who was speaking on the Kokoase segment of Angel Morning Show on Wednesday said is the Agenda 111 project which is been executed across the country.

“In fact, the Agenda 111 project will be one of the main reasons why the NPP will continue to stay in government [beyond 2024]…,” he told host Katakyie Afrifa Mensah.

The Agenda 111 projects, he said, would convince the voters of the good intentions of the NPP government and would cause them to vote massively for them.

The plan to construct the hospitals was first announced in the 8th COVID-19 national address, on April 26, 2020, by the President months after the Coronavirus pandemic hit Ghana.

It was initially “Agenda 88” but government later revised it to “Agenda 111.” The 23 additional facilities included, 13 more district hospitals bringing the total figure to 111.
