Ghanaian Business Consultant Alfred Ababio Kumi has submitted his nomination forms to contest the New Patriotic Party (NPP) parliamentary primaries at the Adenta constituency in the Greater Accra Region.

He submitted the forms at the party’s constituency office at Adenta on Friday, August 4, 2023.

AdentaKumi, as affectionally called, was accompanied by a large crowd of supporters including members of the general public having successfully gone through his vetting and picked number five on the ballot.

The businessman cum politician who in his bid to continue assisting the community and contribute his quota to national development, is seen as a strong contender for the NPP in the forthcoming primaries slated for September to December 2023.

Speaking to Angel News after submitting the forms, he indicated that owing to his endorsement and backing by the people in the constituency, his political journey has taken another step amidst his determination to recapture the seat for the NPP when given the nod.

“There’s a saying that a ‘journey with a thousand mile begins with a step’ so once you are intended to embark on a dream, you have to take that step for others to rally behind you. All what I’m seeking for is to see Adenta Constituency transform into development.

“If you go to other constituency, people are complaining about not getting their fair share of the national cake, but the fact is that they must work for it. Our problems in politics nowadays have been money oriented however we must change that ideology and perception and be supportive to ourselves,” added Alfred Ababio Larbi Kumi.

According to him, having over the years proven to be a pacesetter and a leader in all fields of his endeavour, he is enriched to lead the course to strive for more developmental projects for the constituency with his selflessness, hard work, dedication, love-for-all and his unifying spirit to mention few.

“So as am speaking to you now am not contesting for my selfish interest but for the best interest of every constituency member in Adenta,” he stressed.

Alfred Ababio Kumi who will be contesting the seat with four other candidates has over the years worked in corporate circles with various companies, and is currently the Senior Managing Consultant at VISION-LOB, a company located in Accra- Ghana.
