Retired Commissioner of Police (COP) Alex Mensah has reacted to claims that he is fighting the Inspector General of Police (IGP), George Akufo-Addo Dampare because of his hatred for the leader of the police service.
Speaking on Angel Morning Show on Tuesday, the retired COP who is currently responding to contents of a leaked tape involving the leadership style of the IGP said the contents of the tape does not portray any form of hatred for the IGP.
According to him, he only presented a true picture of the current state of the police service when he met former Northern Regional Chairman of the New Patriotic Party (NPP), Bugri Naabu.
He further added that fighting unjust causes are just part of him as even his parents know that “I will speak my mind and the truth no matter what happens”.
