A communications team member of the governing New Patriotic Party (NPP), Nana Kwadwo Agyei Yeboah, has advised Ghanaian leaders to focus on finding lasting solutions to issues rather than engaging in propaganda.

Sharing his view on the commentaries surrounding the Dam Spillage, the NPP communicator called for an apolitical solution to the menace.

Speaking to Wonder Gee on the Angel Morning Show on Monday, October 16, 2023, he stated “It is not about politics, rather it’s the way forward.”

According to him, Ghanaians are already well-informed about current events, thus, the crucial focus should be on finding lasting solutions.

“Ghanaians are already aware of the recent events; hence, the most important factor now is to find solutions to it,” he uttered.

Moreover, he proposed that constructing more dams around the vicinity would aid in preserving water and generating and exporting electricity to less privileged countries.

“I believe that constructing more dams within that enclave would help in generating and equally exporting electricity to deprived countries,” he stated.

He also recommended the implementation of stringent regulations to prevent individuals from constructing around that enclave.

“I think it about time, stern leaders and strict laws are implemented to prevent individuals from settling there or any construction projects,” he added.

Mr. Agyei Yeboah used the opportunity and advised that politicians should stop condemning each other and, rather, work collectively to attain a common purpose.
