A member of the communication team of Vice President, Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia, Yaw Adomako Baafi has said that his ideal candidate for the 2024 flagbearer contest of the New Patriotic Party (NPP), Dr Bawumia has the best message for Ghanaians.
The former Director of Communications for the New Patriotic Party (NPP) who was speaking on Angel Morning Show on Morning said this in reaction to claims from the a spokersperson for the Ken Agyapong campaign team that that the Vice President has no message for Ghanaians.
“Lawyer Amoh Dartey’s outburst is a mark of desperation…what we don’t have is a negative message but we have a positive one…the message of unity, performance and unity,” he said.
He further said that Dr Bawumia has been on a mission talking about the the good things NPP has done for Ghanaians from President Kufour to President Akuffo Addo’s tenure of office.
“Our message is the good things that has happened to Ghana from Kufour to Akufo-Addo’s tenure of office,” he said.
He added that Dr Bawumia has never been interested in talking about things that will bring the NPP to its knees.
“We don’t have a negative message like destroying the hand that fed us, that is why we don’t just communicate,” he added.
