The Director of Centre for Environmental Management and Sustainability Energy, Benjamin Nsiah has said that former President John Dramani Mahama performed better as a Vice President than Dr Mahamudu Bawumia.
Speaking on Angel Morning Show on Wednesday, 1st November, 2023, Mr Nsiah said the former President unlike the current Vice President, fulfilled most promises he made to Ghanaians.
“If 2009-2013 is highlighted, Mahama performed better than Bawumia as President…it will be worst if we come on board with economic indicators, the available statistics show that Mahama did well when it comes to the management of the economy yet Mahama never touted himself as an economist,” he stated.
He further accused the Vice President who is also the Chairman of the Economic Management team of deliberately dodging all discussions of the economy in recent times because of how bad Dr Bawumia has been at Managing the country’s economy.
“Dr Bawumia is not as reliable as he made Ghanaians believe and this is evident in how bad he has been at management Ghana’s economy which was doing good before the country was handed over to him and his boss, Akufo-Addo…,” Mr Nsiah said further.
The track record of Dr Mahamudu Bawumia, Ben Nsiah added, does not not qualify him to lead the NPP as Flagbearer.
“Dr Bawumia does not stand a chance compared to Kennedy Agyapong on November 4th,” he claimed.
