A man believed to be in his 40s has been lynched by some angry youth after he allegedly butchered his 39-year-old concubine to death at Nweneso No.3 in the Atwima Kwanwoma District of the Ashanti Region.
According to a report filed by Angel News reporter Bismark Mensah, the man only identified as Efo killed his late lover Sister Ataa on Wednesday, October 1, 2023.
The incident, the report said, comes after Efo had tried several times to murder Sister Ataa following persistent accusation of the latter cheating on him.
However, on the said day, Efo allegedly confronted Sister Ataa at a farming site in the community and butchered her.
Some community youth upon knowledge of the Efo’s criminal act angrily attacked and lynched him as their own way of serving justice to the deceased.
The deceased bodies of both Efo and Sister Ataa were conveyed by the Fuase Police to the Toase Morgue pending autopsy.
