A political activist, Kwaku Adu Gyamfi, has said the New Patriotic Party leaders can’t steer the affairs of the party let alone having the time to solve the country’s problems.

“The point where Ghana is now, we need wise people to help us control the affairs of the state,” Adu-Gyamfi stated Tuesday, November 21, 2023 on the show tomorrow on Angel TV and Angel 102.9 FM.

He added: “It looks like the current administration is not interested in unifying the party but rather ‘sinking the ship’.”

“And we are not ready as a country to continuously allow them behave the way they are behaving because, we have a country to build,” he added.

He described President Akufo-Addo’leadership style as problematic, saying he expects to see a leader in the person of Dr Mahamudu Bawumia, who is the new leader of the NPP, to rebuild the party.

“I’m wondering if Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia has what it takes to rebuild the NPP for Ghanaians to see that there were viable alternatives in terms of governance,” he wondered.

He, however, sees no viable alternative when it comes to Governance because “the NPP has failed in all the sectors of governance.”

“Right now, I can’t say that the NPP is a viable alternative when it comes to governance because in terms of leadership they have failed, in terms of governance they have failed and in terms of managing the affairs of the state they have failed,” he expressed.
