Angel Sports Live emerged tops at the 2023 Radio and Television Personality (RTP) Awards held in Accra recently.
The sports programme which is broadcasted simultaneously on radio and TV from 19:00 to 21:00 on weekdays with the mid-morning edition also airing on Angel TV between 10:00 and 12:00 emerged tops after recording the highest number of votes.
The show aside giving updates on sporting activities in Ghana and across the globe also offers insightful editorials which has contributed largely to the shaping of sports in Ghana.
The Friday edition, known as Sports Salad, which combines sports with entertainment has become the toast of most Ghanaian sports and entertainment lovers.
In-depth analysis of sports issues by veteran footballers like Charles Taylor, Prince Tagoe and Awudu Issaka who serve as panellists make the show unique.
The contributions of celebrated supporters union chairman, Abraham Boakye, also known as One Man supporter is part of the unique attractions on the show.
All these contributed in making Angel Sports the top sports programme at the awards ceremony which celebrates the achievements of Radio and Television personalities in Ghana.
