A communications team member of the New Patriotic Party (NPP), Ellen Ama Daaku has called on Ghanaians not to pay heed to the campaign messages of the 2024 Flagbearer of the National Democratic Congress (NDC), John Dramani Mahama.

Speaking on Angel Morning Show (AMS) on Monday, 26th February, 2024, Ama Daaku said the promises being made by the former President during his campaigns indicate that he is still not in tune with the current problems facing the Ghanaian.

“Mahama is operating in the past, he is seeking to use the same template he used in 2016 to tackle the problems of today, he’s just the same old Mahama and nothing has changed…,” he said during a panel discussion.

The firebrand NPP communicator added that the former President through his utterances has shown that he is not a changed person in the game of politics.

This attitude, she added, is no news to the NPP which is prepared to defeat Mahama again in 2024 polls.

“Mahama is seeking to rebrand and repackage himself for the 2024 elections but the problem the re-packaging has been very difficult because it is certainly impossible…,” she added.

Former President Mahama who was re-elected flagbearer of the NDC for the 2024 elections has been campaigning to re-capture the seat in 2024.
