Government Spokesperson on Governance and Security, Palgrave Boakye- Danquah has called on Ghanaians to stop comparing the power outages that happened under the erstwhile Mahama administration to what is happening under Akufo-Addo.
Speaking on TV3’s New Day on Tuesday 12th March,, 2024, he stated that the recent power challenges is only a fraction of the ‘massive dumsor’ that happened under Mahama.
The word Dumsor has been used by the general public since 2012 in expressing anger, fun, mockery, worry and disappointment about the authorities and the ruling government concerning our poor power challenges. And same thing is occurring in recent times.
Palgrave Boakye-Danquah made claims that the  transformers are going to be fixed and that the abundance of electricity Ghanaians have been enjoying since 2017 will be restored and that if there is a need for timetables to be provided they will.
