The founder and leader of  Ghana Union Movement (GUM), Christian Kwabena Andrews has outlined extensive plans for massive health and infrastructure development if elected president.

In an interview on Y’aduma nie mid-morning programme on Angel 102.9 FM Wednesday, April 2, 2024, he emphasised that there will be an establishment of large health centres if he comes to power.

“This move is aimed at providing advanced medical care locally, potentially reducing the need for patients to seek treatment abroad, thus saving costs and benefiting Ghanaians” he told Ohemaa Woyeje, host of the programme

In addition to the health infrastructure, he also said that there will be a railway network linking Kumasi, Takoradi, Accra, and Tamale to improve connectivity across these cities in country.

“Linking these four regions; Kumasi, Takoradi, Accra, and Tamale with the planned railway system will improve connectivity throughout Ghana. This infrastructure project has the potential to propel the development of each region and elevate Ghana’s reputation,” he added.
