Four persons have been arrested over the missing biometric devices of the Electoral Commission of Ghana (EC).

The minority in Parliament raised alarms on the missing devices which were intended for voter registration and verification by the Commission ahead of its limited registration exercise.

Minority Leader, Dr Cassiel Ato Forson in a press conference emphasised the need for the Criminal Investigation Department (CID) and the Police Service to promptly locate the missing devices.

Dr. Ato Forson expressed apprehension about the unknown individuals in possession of the devices and the motives behind their theft.
