Dr. Bawumia extends tours to Bono, Ahafo regions on May 8

Flagbearer of the New Patriotic Party (NPP), Dr Mahamudu Bawumia, would be extending his campaign tour to the Ahafo, Bono and Bono East Regions ahead of the December 2024 general elections.

The tour has been scheduled for Wednesday, May 8, 2024. He will be delivering his messages to Ghanaians to seek their votes in the elections.

The Vice President has already toured Eastern, Western, and Western North regions.

A statement signed by the Director of Communications for the Bawumia Campaign Team, Dennis Miracles Aboagye, announced the campaign schedule and noted that Dr. Bawumia will share his vision to Ghanaian voters.

“As part of his campaign tour to the Ahafo, Bono, and the Bono East Regions, Dr Bawumia will be providing a deeper insight into his vision for the mining sector at a Transformational Dialogue organized by the University of Energy and Natural Resources on Wednesday 8th May 2024.

“On Thursday 9th May 2024, He will be addressing the Heads of Anti-Corruption Agencies
in Commonwealth Africa on the inter-linkages of digitalization & corruption in
Governance,” Parts of the statement

The statement further called on the general public to continue to stay with Dr.
Bawumia on his “exciting journey of unveiling bold solutions for the next chapter of
Ghana’s development.”
