Reports reaching Angelonline.com.gh is that a man believed to be in his 30s was discovered dead in a bush at Nkurankan in the Yilo Krobo Municipality of the Eastern Region.

The victim only identified as Kporji, is said to have committed suicide on Monday, May 6, 2024, in a bush at Powerline, a suburb of Nkurankan.

Although Kporji, did not leave any notes behind, information gathered had it that he committed the act after his wife divorced him and ended their union.

Angel News’ reporter at the Krobo enclave – Jaman Dehyee Opambour reported that the deceased known to be a farmer had married the unnamed woman for five years with whom he had two children until they separated recently.

“Sources told me that Mr. Kporji and his ex-wife enjoyed their marriage for five years and bore two children.

“Along the line, marital issues popped up and the woman decided to divorce the man.

“To ensure the issues were resolved for the continuity of their union, elderly members of both families met on several occasions but the woman was firmed with her decision to quit the marriage as the efforts yielded no results,” the account stated.
