The Member of Parliament (MP) for Tarkwa-Nsuaem, George Mireku Duker was at his compassionate best on Wednesday evening when he dined with a section of People Living with Disabilities (PWDs) in the constituency.
The gesture, the Deputy Minister of Mines wrote on his Facebook wall forms part of his efforts to ensure that all-persons in his constituency feel belonged and are well-taken care of.
“We dined on some food and drinks to appreciate the almighty God for how far he has brought us and also put a smile on the faces of the PWDs…,” he wrote.
The generous MP also made the PWDs who live in his constituency feel how much they are appreciated and loved by donating items such as Wheelchairs, walking sticks, and Clutches with a cash token to the leadership to support them.
The MP was joined by some special dignitaries including Hon. Alex Agyare, Kade MP; Hon. Michael Okyere Baafi, New Juaben South MP; Hon. Edward Bawa, Bongo MP; Western Regional NPP Executives, Musicians such as Obaapa Christy, Philipa Baafi, Uncle Ato, the Clergy, Media and all who came to make my day, a memorable one.
