Asante Akyem North MP arrest: What we know so far

A member of the Movement for Change political movement, Solomon Owusu has issued a stern warning to the New Patriotic Party (NPP) and National Democratic Congress (NDC) that the December 7 polls is not an election to elect an ECOWAS president.

According to him, intelligence gathered shows that  these two political parties are finding every means possible to register foreigners in the limited voters registration exercise.

“What scares me the most is the Nigerians and foreigners they are trying to register. I have gathered intelligence that proves that they are trying to register aliens as well,” he said.

Solomon Owusu made these wild accusations and claims on Angel Morning Show, May 14, 2024 while giving account on the limited voters registration exercise organized by the Electoral Commission.

He posited that they will not sit down for foreigners to elect leaders for Ghanaians and will resist anything of that sort.

“I am telling those who want to register those foreigners that this election is not an ECOWAS election rather a Ghanaian election to elect a Ghanaian leader to make decisions that affect Ghanaians,” he added.
