NPP, NDC best bet for Ghanaians – Justin Frimpong Kodua

Justin Frimpong Kodua, General Secretary, New Patriotic Party

General Secretary of the New Patriotic Party (NPP), Justin Frimpong Kodua, has stated that the New Patriotic Party (NPP) and the National Democratic Congress (NDC) are the only viable options for Ghanaians.

In an interview on Angel Morning Show (AMS), Thursday June 6, 2024, JFK as he is affectionately called, likened politics to marriage, noting that it has its sweet and bitter moments.

“In our current situation in Ghana, unless something changes, it will only be these two parties. If it’s not the NPP, then it’s the NDC,” he remarked.

Frimpong highlighted that since 1992, the two parties have alternated in power, each facing its own set of challenges.

“Former President Kufuor’s tenure is regarded as one of the best, with many Ghanaians appreciating his leadership despite some difficulties, such as the issues with power outages around 2005-2006.”

He noted that when the NDC took power in 2009, they too encountered numerous challenges, similar to the current issues faced by the NPP.

Justin Frimpong Kodua added, in spite of the challenges encountered by the two major parties, they remain the best bet for Ghanaians.
