The Director of Operations of the Progressive Peoples Party (PPP), Divine Nkrumah has said that he simply cannot stand comprehend why the Vice president and Presidential Candidate of the New Patriotic Party (NPP), Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia will still be promising Ghanaians good things when campaigning.

According to him, he is shocked Dr. Bawumia makes promises as though he is not part of the current government.

“One thing I have observed in this campaign trail by the parties that makes me angry is when I see Dr. Bawumia make campaign promises,” he said.

Divine Nkrumah made these assertions on Angel Morning Show, June 12, 2024, while commenting on various promises made by presidential candidates touring the country canvassing for votes.

Some of the statements of Dr Bawumia shocks him and many Ghanaians as he behaves as if all if well in the country.

“If Dr. Bawumia wants us to see him as an honest person and a trustworthy leader, he must first and foremost admit that his leadership is bad,” he stated.

He cited high inflation as one of the effects of his bad leadership and has always tried to sweep that subject under the carpet whenever it is brought up.
