New Patriotic Party (NPP) running mate for the 2024 elections, Dr Matthew Opoku Prempeh has apologised over his comment which has been interpreted as one which sought to diminish the achievements of Ghana’s first President, Osagyefo Dr Kwame Nkrumah.
The Energy Minister has been bad-mouthed by several Ghanaians for claiming that the achievements of the Akufo-Addo administration surpasses that of Dr Kwame Nkrumah.
Calls have been made for him to resign from his position or be sacked by the flagbearer.
NAPO as Dr Matthew Opoku Prempeh is known and called has however eating humble pie by begging for apologising.
