The Director of communication of the Bawumia for President campaign team, Dennis Miracles Aboagye has said that the New Patriotic Party (NPP) is inching to wards a one-touch victory in the upcoming general elections.
According to him, the party and its flagbearer, Dr Mahamudu Bawumia have been doing a lot to ensure that majority of Ghanaian voters elect Dr Bawumia to continue the good works of the Akufo-Addo administration.
“We are winning the elections one touch , we are working adequately to ensure this…,” he said in an interview on Net 2 TV.
Miracles Aboagye revealed that the party is seeking to also win the Parliamentary elections so the next NPP government will not have to work with a hung Parliament.
The party as part of the steps to regaining control of the Legislative arm of government. he said, is planning to win at least three seats in the Oti Region and two more seats in the Volta Region as well.
“NPP will also be winning three more seats in the Eastern Region,” he added.
