Flagbearer of the National Democratic Congress (NDC), John Dramani Mahama, has labelled her running mate as someone with remarkable achievements which make her more qualified to be the Vice President of Ghana.

Addressing the Central Regional House of Chiefs during their campaign tour of the Central Region, Mahama emphasized that Jane Naana Opoku Agyemang has been an inspiration to many hence his decision to select as her partner for the 2024 elections.

“Today, countless women have soared to greater heights because Prof. Jane Naana Opoku-Agyemang was the trailblazer, the first to demonstrate that it could be done, and the first to achieve it,” he said.

Mahama also lauded her incorruptible nature and dedication to the nation’s progress.

“Prof. Naana Jane is a leader of high moral standards. She is incorruptible and throughout her service to Ghana, she has remained steadfastly committed and patriotic,” he remarked.

He further underscored Jane Naana’s experience and integrity deeming them vital to the Vice Presidential office and essential for fostering wealth and prosperity for all.

Mahama urged the traditional rulers to support Prof. Jane Naana Opoku-Agyemang, recognizing her as one of their own and the ideal candidate to help build the nation.
