Dr. Asaah-Asante, in his opening remarks, provided an in-depth explanation of the show’s content, highlighting its unique approach to political analysis and public engagement.

In his address, Dr. Asaah-Asante elaborated on the core components of the show.

He explained that “Yen Man Ghana” will be divided into several segments including an editorial, the presentation of research data, panel discussions, press conferences, and active audience participation.

This format is designed to enhance political awareness and education, increase voter engagement, and contribute significantly to national discourse on governance and leadership.

The editorial segment will see Dr. Asaah-Asante offering his insights on topical issues, including analysis, arguments, and advocacy for action.

This will be followed by the presentation of research data based on surveys conducted on governance issues, which will then be discussed by experts and the audience.

The panel discussion segment will involve in-depth discussions on issues of national interest, including government policies, laws, and emerging socio-economic and political matters.

The press conference will serve as a platform for top public officials and private sector leaders to answer questions posed by a panel of resource persons, with their responses analyzed and critiqued by another set of panellists.

Audience participation will be encouraged through phone-ins and messages, ensuring that the public’s voice is heard.

Dr. Asaah-Asante further revealed that, the views and inputs from both the people and the panel would be compiled into a policy document and presented to the government, ensuring that the public’s voice is heard at the highest levels of decision-making.

Additionally, ‘Yen Man Ghana’ will have a strong media engagement component, including social media interaction, audience questions, and participation during the live show, and post-show discussions and debates on online platforms.

‘Yen Man Ghana’ aspires to be a critical platform for discussing and addressing Ghana’s political and governance challenges.

It encourages public participation and awareness, seeking to foster a culture of accountability and transparency in governance.
