2024 elections: I’ll establish District Agricultural Mechanization Centres for farmers – Bawumia

The flagbearer of the New Patriotic Party (NPP), Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia, has expressed confidence that the party is poised for victory in the upcoming 2024 elections.

He attributed this optimism to the positive impact of the government’s policies on the lives of Ghanaians.

Speaking to a large crowd of traders at the Okaishie Market on Tuesday, October 29, Dr. Bawumia highlighted various initiatives his administration has implemented to support local businesses, particularly in the wake of economic challenges.

He noted that policies aimed at improving access to credit, reducing import tariffs on essential goods, and enhancing market infrastructure have significantly benefited traders.

“What I see based on all the places I have been indicates that Insha Allah, the NPP will win the 2024 election come December 7. We are going to win because of the work we have done. Before we came into office, we promised that we would implement a free senior high school policy.

“At the time we made the promise, the then-president told us that we were deceiving Ghanaians. He said it was not possible. But I said that it was possible. God willing, if I also become the president, I will focus on traders just like I said; Bawumia means business,” he stated.

The NPP’s flagbearer also encouraged the traders to actively participate in the electoral process, urging them to mobilize their communities to vote for the party that has demonstrated a commitment to their welfare.

He reaffirmed the NPP’s dedication to fostering economic growth and stability, which he believes will ultimately benefit all Ghanaians.

As he concluded his address, Dr Bawumia called for unity among party supporters and urged them to remain optimistic about the future, stating, “Together, we will secure a better Ghana for ourselves and the generations to come.”
