The Minister for Information, Fatimatu Abubakar, has praised Vice President Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia’s distinct leadership qualities, describing him as a problem solver with a unique vision for Ghana’s future.
Appearing on Angel FM’s morning show on November 5, 2024, hosted by Okatakyie Afrifa Mensah, she highlighted the Vice President’s innovative approach to governance, which she believes sets him apart from other African leaders.
According to Abubakar, “Each individual is unique; even twins have their own differences. Such is Bawumia – his thinking and leadership style are unlike any other African leader.”
She said. Dr. Bawumia’s solutions-oriented approach has already brought tangible benefits to the country.
The information minister pointed to recent initiatives led by Dr. Bawumia, specifically citing the launch of the GoRide app, a driver-hailing platform designed to reduce operational costs for online drivers and streamline payments.
This initiative, she explained, reflects Dr. Bawumia’s understanding of the challenges facing ordinary Ghanaians and his commitment to practical solutions.
She expressed her confidence that under Dr. Bawumia’s leadership, Ghana would continue to witness positive changes.
As the 2024 elections approach, she believes Ghanaians will recognize Dr. Bawumia’s distinct vision and problem-solving capabilities, which position him as a transformative leader for the nation.
