The New Patriotic Party’s (NPP) Parliamentary Candidate for the Akuapem South Constituency in the Eastern Region, Eric Apeadu Yeboah, says that President Akufo-Addo’s administration has created 2.3 million jobs for the youth across the country.

According to him, 2,336 young people in the constituency have benefited directly from these opportunities provided by the Akufo-Addo government and are grateful for the support.

Mr. Yeboah further added that claims from the NDC in Akuapem South, suggesting the NPP government has done nothing for the youth in the area, are untrue and mere propaganda.

“Apart from creating jobs for the youth in Akuapem South, we have received a lot of developmental projects from the NPP government, and this has made things difficult for NDC members in the constituency to go out and campaign for their party,” he recounted.

Eric Apeadu Yeboah mentioned this when speaking on jobs for the youth in Akuapem South.

Apeadu Yeboah also stated that if Dr. Bawumia wins the 2024 election, he will create an additional 1 million digital jobs, from which over 35,000 young people in Akuapem South are expected to benefit.

“The ultimate goal of the NPP government is to ensure that the youth of the country have jobs to do to reduce the high rate of unemployment in the country; that is why the Vice President and flagbearer of NPP, Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia, is pleading with Ghanaians to allow him to become the next President of Ghana,” he told Kontihene Kofi Oboh.

He further urged the youth to take this election seriously, get involved, and vote for Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia, enabling him to lead the country towards transformation and development.

The outgoing Member of Parliament for the constituency, Osei Bonsu Amoah, expressed that he has done his best for his constituents but wished he could have achieved even more.

He emphasized that all hope is not lost because Eric Apeadu Yeboah who would step into his shoes come December 7, would continue his good work and bring more infrastructure projects to the area.
