Mahama will build six new technical and vocational universities – Manuribe

A communications team member for the National Democratic Congress (NDC), Richard Manuribe claims Mahama will lead an expansion of the student loan scheme when he becomes President.

Speaking on Angel Morning Show, he threw emphasis to cater for SHS student looking forward to advancing their education in any tertiary institution for free.

“Mahama is going to take care of SHS students migrating into any tertiary institution for free”, he explained.

In the interview, he explained that, the expansion of the student loan transplant will assist students to complete their tertiary education after first year.

“The student loan transplant will be expanded for students who have completed first year to grant them access to loans to complete school”, he stated.

He stressed on the significance of the policy to enable individuals in facilitating and managing their lives after school.

“People will be able to manage their lives after tertiary”, he said.

Manuribe added that Mahama will establish six Technical and Vocational Universities in each of the new regions.

He said, “Mahama is going to build six more universities in the six new regions based on technical and vocational training”.

NDC’s Communications Team Member claimed that, there has been an increasement  in crime rate and unemployment due to Ghana’s broken economy.
