The National Organizer for the New Patriotic Party (NPP), Henry Nana Boakye popularly known as Nana B has stated that the number of votes that the NPP will get from the Volta Region in the 2024 polls will shock the National Democratic Congress (NDC).
In an interview with Okatakyie Afrifa Mensah on November 12, 2024, he expressed that Voltarians who are known supporters of the NDC will vote massively for the NPP and Dr Bawumia in the December polls due largely to the major developmental projects executed by the NPP in the region.
Major towns in the region such as Adaklu and Ho, he said, have witnessed major transformations as a result of the developmental projects in the towns.
“If you observe 2016 and 2020, we appreciated by some 50%, 60,000 and we jumped to almost 150,000 during the 2020 elections in the entire Volta Region,” he said.
He expressed that; the constituents will vote based on what the NPP has achieved.
“Every chief wishes for development for his people, every Pastor wishes for development for his church members and every Imam wishes for development for his members,” he said.
