Government secures $300m to upgrade SHSs nationwide – Mahama

Former President of Ghana, John Dramani Mahama, has expressed his disappointment in President Nana Addo Dankwa and his New Patriotic Party (NPP), labeling his governance as the ‘worst’.
He stated that since the NPP took over the reigns of government eight years ago, he had hoped they would fulfill their promises.
He however believes they have failed to do so. According to him, Ghanaians can testify that their governance is the worst.
According to Mahama, he thanked God for giving Nana Addo and his Vice President, Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia, the opportunity to govern.
He suggested that if the NDC had won the 2016 general election, Ghanaians would have said that the NPP would have done better than the NDC. He urged that Ghanaians can recall their good works when they were in government.
“There’s nothing that they could do to please Ghanaians,” he said.
John Mahama further explained that, the NPP criticized the NDC while they were in government, according to him, they had nothing to compare against. Now, after being in power for eight years, the NPP has not fulfilled its promises.
“Ghanaians can now compare the governance of both the NDC and NPP. The NPP makes noise, yet they could not fulfill all their promises,” he said.
He urged Ghanaians to recognize that the NPP has nothing more to offer them.
