The CEO of Angel Broadcasting Network (ABN), Vincent Opare, has praised flagbearer of the New Patriotic Party (NPP), Dr Mahamudu Bawumia, for his maturity in accepting the 2024 election results.
Speaking Tuesday to draw the curtains on the coverage of 2024 General Elections on Angel FM/TV dubbed “The Election Eye,” Mr Opare expressed his gratitude to God and commended Dr. Bawumia, the incumbent Vice President, for his swift concession.
He also congratulated President-elect John Dramani Mahama on his victory.
Mr. Opare, however, apologised to all Ghanaians and parties negatively affected by any pronouncements, actions or inactions of any ABN on-air staff and promised to correct any mishap.
He also appreciated ‘The Election Eye’ team led by the Director of News and Current Affairs, Kofi Adoma Nwanwani, for their excellent reportage throughout the elections.
