The New Patriotic Party (NPP) has been pronounced the winners of the winners of the Parliamentary elections in Obuasi East in the Ashanti Region.
The declaration follows the withdrawal of an application by the National Democratic Congress (NDC) challenging the re-collation of polls in the constituency.
This makes the NPP the effective winners of Obuasi East Constituency.
NPP candidate, Patrick Boakye Yiadom shall be sworn in as MP without any legal obstacles.
