A member of the National Democratic Congress (NDC), Osei Kwame Griffiths, has expressed confidence in the party’s ability to remain in power for an extended period.

Mr. Osei believes that the NDC government can ensure its longevity by learning from past mistakes and making the right decisions.

Speaking on the New Year edition of the Angel Morning Show hosted by Saddick Adams, he emphasized the importance of President John Dramani Mahama managing the country effectively.

According to him, this can be achieved by fulfilling the campaign promises made to Ghanaians before the elections.

“From what I’ve heard internally from former executives, he [President John Dramani Mahama] intends to ensure accountability. Whoever commits any wrongdoing will not be protected. What matters most to him is serving the nation’s interest, and that reassures me,” he said on Wednesday, January 8, 2025.

The former Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of the National Identification Authority (NIA) assured the NDC family of the government’s commitment to administering the country efficiently.

“And I encourage him [John Dramani Mahama] and the NDC fraternity that if we adhere to these pledges, we will stay in power for a long time,” he added.
