Police Inspector arrested for allegedly defiling 14-year-old daughter

The 2024 Parliamentary Candidate of the National Democratic Congress (NDC) for Anyaa Sowutuom Constituency, Emmanuel Adotey Allotey, has suggested that installing Closed – Circuit Television (CCTV) in various market squares will help prevent fire outbreaks.

Allotey who was speaking during a panel discussion with Saddick Adams on the Angel Morning Show on Tuesday, January 14, 2025, said this is necessary to forestall any mishappening in our markets.

“Don’t forget the cameras are operated by humans so they can destroy the wires if they want to cause harm. Let us reset our minds and think about Ghana and not political parties, relatives, or ethnicities” he stated.

He expressed that, “Nobody can convince me that no one is behind the fire outbreaks in our market,” and retorted, “how come there was no fire outbreak in the whole of last year, but these fire incidents keep happening just after the election?”

He further noted that the fire outbreak becoming consistent started way back in 2009.

“If the wiring does not go well, why should it always be after the election? I think people are behind it and what do they want to achieve, for what reason?” he questioned.
