A District Chief Executive (DCE) hopeful for Offinso North in the Ashanti Region, Caesar Ofosu Acheampong, has assured the people of his commitment and dedication to development if he is appointed the next DCE for the area.

Mr. Acheampong, who is seeking to occupy this high office at the district level, pledged to work tirelessly to transform the area while demonstrating a quality leadership style.

He explained to Asona Dehyie Kwateng that the first point of his development agenda would be to run a non-partisan administration at the district assembly.

“I am here to serve the people of Offinso North irrespective of one’s political inclination or affiliation.

“I have strongly indicated that I am not here to do politics and that my goal and aspiration is to be a worthy representative of President John Dramani Mahama and serve the people to the best of my ability,” he stressed.

Addressing unemployment concerns among the youth in Offinso North, Mr. Acheampong expressed confidence in empowerment as a tool to help solve the unemployment problem.

This, he said, would potentially create job opportunities for the youth and address the high rates of unemployment, which pose a security risk to the area.

He expressed confidence and hope that President John Dramani Mahama would nominate him as the next Offinso North DCE.
