The Christian Council of Ghana (CCG), and The, Mindset, Integrity, Loyalty, Leadership & Service (MILLS) Institute, today, March 04, 2025, rolled out the maiden event of their “Mindset Transformation” Thought Leadership series.

Adopting a bottom-up approach of deep community engagements, the event took place at the Amenuveve (Grace) Chapel of the Evangelical Presbyterian Church, in Torgome, in the North Tongu District of the Region.

Under the overarching theme of “God-Factor in nation building”, the event centered around using the nation’s symbols (National Anthem and Pledge) to drive the narrative.

Led by Reverend Godwin Korku Amuzu, Director of Ecumenical and Interfaith Relations, the CCG, as the lead group, called for “unity” among the local council of churches in order to promote the peace that is critical for development.

Reverend Amuzu, did not mince his words when he made it very clear that CCG is going to really move around the country to step-up the crusade for effective Mindset Transformation and Ethical Leadership.

On his part, Founder and CEO of The MILLS Institute (TMI), Samuel Koku Anyidoho, as has become his passion, spoke about how the words of the Anthem and Pledge must go beyond the rhetoric and become a core aspect of the psyche of the people.

“It is not for nothing that our founding fathers gave us God as the first word of the Anthem and last word of the Pledge and so as a nation, there is no way we can progress if we throw away the God-factor” Koku Anyidoho said.

According to Mr. Anyidoho, the politician and theologian, he is humbled by the solid platform created by CCG and no opportunity would be spared by TMI to work together with like-minded people to fulfill its mandate.

“If we take only the aspect of our Anthem which enjoins us to, cherish fearless honesty, and honor it as a sacred creed, I have no doubt that in just a year or two, we shall be building a strong foundation for positive mindset Transformation.

With a healthy aspect of, questions and answers session, the interactive experience was well appreciated by all.

A friend of CCG, Reverend Tsikata, also shared his perspective on “Unity” and the critical importance of focusing more on the values that unite us than those that divide us.

The heavily attended event attracted, church leaders, community leaders, teachers, students/pupils.

The event was Chaired by Reverend Timpo, the resident pastor of the Amenuveve Congregation.
