Former Asunafo South District Chief Executive (DCE) under the New Patriotic Party (NPP) administration, Frank Aduse Opoku, has sent a wake-up message to the President.
Mr. Aduse Opoku, in his message to John Dramani Mahama, urged him to fulfill the campaign promises he made to Ghanaians during the 2024 elections.
According to him, the statesman must prioritize solving the country’s problems above all other things.
“He campaigned for Ghanaian votes, and they gave him massive endorsement, so he should come and fix the problems, those are the expectations of Ghanaians and not making excuses,” he said on Angel TV.
The immediate past Asunafo South DCE argued that, given Mr. Mahama’s experience as a former statesman, he has all the necessary resources and expertise to succeed.
“President Mahama has the perfect opportunity to change the fortunes of this country.”
He also believes that Ghana’s development cannot be achieved by individuals and politicians alone therefore, he urged the public to adopt a sense of urgency in working together to transform the country.
“We should all come together as one people for the country’s betterment because when Ghana develops, it benefits us all,” he urged.
